Unsustainable water management practices have harmed the rural Indian ecosystem. Agriculture is under threat due to deforestation, intensive agriculture, overgrazing, and over-extraction of groundwater, which is causing distress in migration and a loss of biodiversity and ecosystem services.

FEEST nonprofit organization working in the Udaipur district has decided to bring villagers access to clean and safe drinking water. It has been decided to build 5 wells and 5 check dams in rural areas by 2023. -

People in rural Rajasthan, India, are trapped in extreme poverty. People can escape this trap, but they will need time and resources. Water wells in villages are one way to reclaim the hours spent every day fetching water.
