FEEST organization run by a dedicated group of people to achieve a specific goal. They work on understanding the interrelationships of various natural resources. They also help the government obtain Information relevant to facilitate the implementation of major environmental programmes. The areas of intervention of these NGOs are environmental protection, awareness raising, resource development and documentation, introduction of alternative livelihoods, coordination and assistance with various government departments, habitat monitoring management and recovery etc.

The most important idea is to work to improve global and regional air quality, water quality and groundwater quality standards by reducing emissions of pollutants, promoting environment protection and awareness, managing and running tree plantation projects, designing and implementing climate change mitigation and adaptation, establishing and supporting basic social services, introducing income generation schemes, and participating in disaster early warning, relief and rehabilitation activities.
